Seasons Gratings

I am awarding myself the most occasional blog of 2014 award, due to its rare appearances, and can only beg your forgiveness, dear reader. It's not that I have nothing to say, oh no - infact, I've got a few posts sitting in draft form due to their unremitting cynicism or total irrelevance. I said in a previous post that I overthink things - and this leads to great insecurity with my posts. I should 'publish and be damned' I suppose - at least then there would be a steady flow of something to read, albeit maudlin and pointless.
But I worry about the experience.
You know, how was it for you and all that tosh.
A not very festive collage wot I done, sorry.

So here we are, on the very edge of Christmas, or whatever guise it goes in for you  - the Festive Season is upon us again, in a flurry of  greetings and mince pies and auntie Mabel drinking you under the table with that evil Baileys cocktail she's been devising all year.
Is that how it goes for you ?
See, I'm generalising horribly. I mean cliché central - I don't actually know anyone with an Auntie Mabel at all - although I know many people who imbibe the Baileys for Seasonal reasons.

UPDATE

It is now the first week in January, so I've hit a timeslip, and in a fit of determination, I'm going to publish all my hitherto unpublished things as they're stacking up and making the place look untidy.
This will make my blog a chronological nightmare, and for the hardy few who brave it, I humbly apologise, and hope that it does not detract too much.
